Terry O'Bright

Born in Toronto, Terry O’Bright studied civil engineering but chose to pursue his passion for the creative work of mixing sound. He got his start through Terry Brown, famed music producer for Rush, who gave him his first job at Sounds Interchange. O’Bright moved to Los Angeles in 1988 and worked at EFX Systems where he honed his craft. He worked at Disney Studios and Smart Move Sound before becoming a member of the Sony Pictures family. He has earned multiple CAS and MPSE Golden Reel awards, along with multiple nominations, and has been nominated for four Primetime Emmys. His more than 250 film and television credits include The Goldbergs, Empire, Unforgettable and Grey’s Anatomy.
