Re-Recording Mixer
Mark Linden is a re-recording mixer and sound supervisor with nearly 30 years of experience in television and feature films. With more than 160 screen credits, he has been honored with a CAS Award and nine Emmy Awards (Primetime and Documentary) along with 20 Emmy nominations and multiple MPSE Golden Reel Award nominations.
Bringing a deep knowledge of film history and sound technique to every project, Linden works across many genres for directors as stylistically diverse as Judd Apatow, John Badham, Penelope Spheeris and Seth Rogan. Experience has taught him how powerful sound can be in evoking a filmmaker’s vision. His many feature film and television credits include The Big Sick, Napoleon Dynamite, Flight 93, Love, Preacher, Psych and The Simpsons (for which he has mixed nearly 300 episodes). He has also mixed international theatrical foreign-language versions of films such as The Social Network, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and The Amazing Spider-Man. He brings an enthusiastic, personal and collaborative approach to mixing and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
