Preserving content is an essential component of the mastering process. Once all the assets have been created, the Post Media Center can sort through the picture and audio assets, organize and prepare them for archiving. Keeping an accurate archive of the source and master elements will not only protect from a catastrophic event but also future proof the content for re-mastering purposes.
