Richard Yawn has contributed to more than 140 film and television projects across a range of genres from action, drama and science fiction to comedy and musicals. His recent credits include the high-profile series Preacher, The Good Doctor and Outsiders. Yawn earned an MPSE Golden Reel Award for his work on the action film Under Siege, alongside seven more Golden Reel nominations. He won a Satellite Award for Best Sound on Dreamgirls and has been nominated for HPA and Gold Derby awards. A resourceful sound artist, Yawn applies the same rigorous attention to detail and creativity to all projects.
